« Paradis Porsche de Saint-Tropez : Future Classique ? ».

Il y a plus de 20 ans, en octobre 1993, une semaine après ce que l’on appelait à l’époque « la Nioulargue », une poignée de membres varois du tout jeune Club « 911 Méditerranée » organisait, après plusieurs échanges avec la Municipalité, un rassemblement de Porsche à Saint-Tropez.

Le Président de l’époque, Michel GEMIGNANI, décida de l’appeler « Le Paradis Porsche de Saint-Tropez », d’après une idée de SONAUTO, ancien importateur et représentant de Porsche en France.

La première édition eut lieu le 10 octobre 1993. Quelques 180 équipages, de la 356 à la 964 RS, répondirent à ce premier rendez-vous sur le parking du port de la cité du Bailli.

Paul FRERE, Jürgen BARTH et l’écurie des frères ALMERAS étaient parmi eux ....

« Paradis Porsche de Saint-Tropez ».

There are more than 20 years in October 1993, a week after it was called at the time "the Nioulargue", a handful of young members of Var Club "911 Mediterranean" organized after several exchanges with the municipality, a gathering of Porsche in Saint-Tropez. 

The President, Michel GEMIGNANI, decided to call it "Paradise Porsche of Saint-Tropez," from an idea of SONAUTO, former representative and importer of Porsche in France. 

The first edition was held on October 10 1993 Some 180 crews of 356 to 964 RS, responded to this first meeting in the parking lot of the port of the city of Bailli. 

Paul Frère, Jürgen Barth and the team of ALMERAS brothers were among them.
